My Experience

I am a  psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maine.  I graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 1997 and completed my residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 2001.  I was Co-Chief Resident at DHMC in 2001.

I moved to Maine following residency and practiced inpatient psychiatry for six years at AMHI/Riverview in Augusta, ME.  In June, 2007 I opened private practice, while also doing a variety of psychiatric contract work for the State Forensic Service and private attorneys.  In 2013 I returned to full-time inpatient psychiatry, with limited private practice.  Since 2019, I have worked primarily at Riverview's intensive forensic outpatient service.

I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.  I am a member in good standing of the American Psychiatric Association and the Maine Association of Psychiatric Physicians.
